CHANGE ONE LIFE Jubilee Hostels Student Sponsorship Program is an initiative by SIBKL since 2017.
God gave SIBKL a core distinctive to sow back into our native East Malaysian brothers and sisters in Christ. We believe that the Lord wants us to invest in the next generation in Sabah by providing students the opportunity to receive education and grow in a healthy environment physically and spiritually.
Online Tuition made its debut in 2019 to help Pulau Banggi students in Kudat, Sabah to improve in their English and Maths. It caters to both Primary (Standard 3, 4, 5, 6) & Secondary students (Form 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) ages. It is our hope that through Education, the rural communities can be Empowered and Enriched.
As part of God’s unique mandate for SIBKL to care for East Malaysia and our Orang Asal (the indigenous peoples of Malaysia), we are committed to supporting and building churches and communities for them.
Our ETOP students are mainly Japanese students under the “Malaysia My Second Home” (MM2H) programme.
In 2015, we started a bi-monthly ETOP Fellowship Lunch to discuss the Christian faith with students and give them an opportunity to voice any problems they face as foreigners in Malaysia. This enables us to help them in practical ways and pray for them.
