The objective of the CARE MINISTRY in SIBKL is to build strong relationships within the Family, the Church and the Community. We hope to provide for every need from cradle to grave.
The sub-ministries under this umbrella are:
- FAMILY: This ministry engages in equipping the family unit with various training tools for groups and one on one service. Starting with the singles discovering their personhood to courting couples, we offer different training courses to prepare them for marriage. For the married couples, we enrich their marriage by providing them different “handles” to grow in their marriage. We obtain these programs from teaming up with various international ministries, who specializes in these fields. As they progress into parenthood, we offer them help in a same manner.
- SOUL CARE & DIAKONIA:
- This is a service provided to a needier group and our emphasis for SOUL CARE is SIBKL’s members. These members may be going through various forms of additions, obsessions, depression or loss. This service is by appointment only and is on limited days.
- DIAKONIA on the other hand is for every grieving individual and is a equipping and ministering program conducted over 13 weeks, twice a year.
- HOSPITAL VISITATION: This group is a prayer and visitation support team who will visit patients both at home and in hospitals. This team anchors our prayer for the sick on the 3rd Tuesday prayer meeting.

What is the ministry about?
FAMILY ministry is about the overall care of all the members of the church.
It is divided into sub-categories covering support for Marriage, Parenting and Singles.
Counseling without charge is provided for the more serious cases. If the cases cannot be handled in SIBKL, we will assist where possible by referring the cases to paid professional counselors.
Why should I join? - the purpose of this ministry in God's Kingdom
As it was in the beginning with Adam and Eve, it was God’s idea to have an intimate relationship with mankind. He wanted mankind to multiply and have dominion over the earth. Strong families are the building block of strong communities and eventually strong nations. The purpose of this ministry is to focus on building strong family units within the community we exist in.
When? - times of service/ ministry
Activities of this ministry will be conducted periodically throughout the year and will be evangelistic in nature, so that we will be able to engage and educate the communities we live in.

How does this help me grow?
The targeted groups will journey and grow to be wholesome beings when they participate and implement the new ideas they learn. Unity will be fostered within these groups and in this unity God will command His blessings.
