BIBLICAL MODULE

The BIBLICAL MODULE is available to all who would like to grow in their relationship with Christ and in the knowledge and application of the Word in one’s life.

There are four main BIBLICAL MODULES:-

• Module 1: SPIRITUAL WARFARE
• Module 2: FOUNDATIONS OF FAITH
• Module 3: CHURCH HISTORY
• Module 4: PRECEPT UPON PRECEPT

Module 1: SPIRITUAL WARFARE

SPIRITUAL WARFARE is a reality of the Christian life. This SPIRITUAL WARFARE module gives practical biblical balance and handles on how to stand against the wiles of the enemy. In this module, participants learn to declare and appropriate Christ’s victory and finished work at the Cross.

There are four lessons: Lesson 1: Spiritual Warfare Lesson 2: The Armor of God Lesson 3: Praying & Fasting Lesson 4: The Blood of Jesus

SPIRITUAL WARFARE is conducted over 4 weekends of 1½ hours each.

Module 2: FOUNDATIONS OF FAITH

The FOUNDATIONS OF FAITH module is for those who want to intentionally grow in their Christian faith. Christian maturity is a journey and it involves growing in the knowledge and understanding of the Word of God.

There are four lessons: Lesson 1: The Infallibility of the Scriptures Lesson 2: The Second Coming of Jesus Lesson 3: Eternal Judgment Lesson 4: Once Saved, Always Saved?

FOUNDATIONS OF FAITH is conducted over 4 weekends of 1½ hours each.

Module 3: CHURCH HISTORY

CHURCH HISTORY, on the surface, seems irrelevant to the 21st Century Christianity. However, Christianity, unlike any other religion, is deeply rooted in history. The Bible is a divinely inspired historical record of God’s plan of redemption. Church History is vital to our understanding of the institution of the Christian church. Like the history of ancient Israel, the history of Christian church is to be remembered and learned from.

There are five lessons: Lesson 1: The Age of Persecution Lesson 2: The Age of Politicization Lesson 3: The Crusades & its Implications Lesson 3: The Age of Reformation Lesson 4: The Age of Enlightenment & Missions

CHURCH HISTORY is conducted over 5 consecutive weekends of 1½ hours each.

Module 4: PRECEPT UPON PRECEPT

For 2013, SIBKL School of Discipleship BILICAL MODULE will be conducting the following Precept Upon Precept courses:-

Genesis Part 1: The Creation	(Chapters 1-2)
	6 lessons Can you defend creation against evolution? Learn how the world was created and how man came into being as you study both biblical and scientific accounts from Genesis chapters 1-2
Spiritual Gift-Discover Your Spiritual Gifts
	13 lessons This is a much-needed inductive, topical study on a subject about which most of the body of Christ is either terribly uninformed or greatly confused. If you have felt totally inadequate, completely useless, or utterly frustrated because you do not know how to serve God, this course could become the launching pad for a life of personal fulfillment. You can discover not only the good works which God has foreordained that you should walk in, but you can also discover the gift or gifts He has given you to fulfill your calling as a vital and significant member of the body of Christ.
Daniel Part 1-Living Out a Biblical World View
	9 lessons Daniel 1-6: Threatened with death, Daniel stuck to his guns and refused to adopt a pagan lifestyle. His worldview had God at the center and he lived it out despite extreme pressure.
Daniel Part 2-Gaining Understanding of the Time of the End
	12 lessons Daniel 7-12: Daniel knew what God said about the end times, yet it didn’t deter him from impacting those in his present circumstances. Learn how to live in the days ahead. Dare to be a Daniel!
2 Peter-How to Be Kept from Falling
	9 lessons 2 Peter is a call to remember the power and the promises of our Lord Jesus Christ in a time in which many are being led astray by false teachers and false doctrine. Each child of God can know the certainty of salvation, the virtues of a righteous life, confidence in the God-breathed true Scripture, and the hope of Christ’s return.
