Cells

1. Why must I go to a cell?.

We are a cell church and so almost everything happens through cells!

You DON’T have to go to a cell but if you don’t, you may find it difficult to settle in the church. AS the church gets bigger it also must get smaller.

Cell is also the place where you can receive great support during difficult times (as in sickness bereavements) and especially if you plan to get married!!

You will be able to participate in the many outreach programs of the church along with your cell mates. Leaders are best trained in cells.

2. How many people are there in a typical cell group?

Average if 10-15 but there are some very happening ones which can go up to 20!!

3. Why do cells have to multiply?

Effective communication and good relationships become difficult when the cell grows beyond 15 people (remember even Jesus only had 12 disciples!). When a cell multiplies they still stay connected through the zonal groupings so once a friend always a friend!

4. What happens if I cannot be regular at cell meetings ?

You might feel a bit left out – the secret is always to stay connected through e mails of meals or even be part of the host time in church. Even if you are going to be irregular because of your work, join a cell. You will then always have some support and a sense of belonging.

5. How do I know which cell group suits me ?

Find one near your home or near your work place.Choose which day suits you best. Most cells meet on either Wednesday or Friday nights.
Choose a demographic group that suits you.

There are 5 major types of Cell groups:

  1. Geographical family based cells (located in various parts of Klang Valley).
  2. Ladies Cells (only for ladies both single or married). Mostly meets during the day except for 3 cells that meet at night.
  3. Young Adult cells (for both singles and married with young families).
  4. College cells (for college/university students).
  5. Teenage cells (for secondary schools). Meets in church on Saturdays.
