Dear Friends

“8” in scripture is the number of new beginnings. As we come into 2008, my prayer is that this year will see new breakthroughs and new blessings for you and your loved ones.

It was Brooks Atkinson who once said,

“Drop the last year into the silent limbo of the past. Let it go for it was imperfect and, thank God, that it can go”.

My prayer for you is that this year, you will resolve and rise up in your spirit-man to take hold of all that God has in store for you and raise your faith to another level. Like a man riding on a hot-air balloon, we need to offload any excess baggage so that we can rise higher.

The theme for SIBKL this year is “Grow to Go to the Next Generation”. It is our desire to see everyone in the church, young and old, lift their eyes to Jesus and look towards Him to see us through this year. My prayer is that as we grow to love Him more, we then go out to tell the world the love that we have experienced in Him. Grow to go!
